Chris Winkler is a Clinical Psychologist who has fourteen years of experience in treating psychological problems in a range of settings including private practice, public mental health, and universities. Chris is a warm, caring, and dedicated professional. He aims to create a safe, non-judgmental space where his clients are listened to and treated with respect.
Chris keeps up to date with the latest advancements in mental health and therapy and uses approaches that have been tried and tested through scientific research. Chris has special interest in helping people overcome anxiety problems of all types, and he is especially interested in working with those who have OCD.
Chris completed a Master of Clinical Psychology at Macquarie University. He is registered with the Psychology Board of Australia with an endorsed area of practice in Clinical Psychology, and is also approved by the Psychology Board of Australia to provider supervision to new graduates of Clinical Psychology. Finally, Chris is currently completing a PhD at the University of Melbourne with a focus on advancing the field of anxiety treatment.
