Welcome to Coffee Afternoons with ADAVIC online


We hope you all enjoy your time here and enjoy some conversations on whatever you are in the mood to talk about as long as we keep it clean.  We would prefer no discussions on sex, religion, politics and medications.

This group is run by our volunteer admin team, and the focus is on light, friendly conversation. The aim of this group is to provide people with a safe space to connect and engage with other members of the ADAVIC community, and to combat feelings of isolation that people may be experiencing during this difficult time in the world.

If you are interested in a more mental health focused group, you can enquire with our admins about our peer support groups, which are run online on Monday and Wednesday evenings. Our peer support groups are run by volunteers with lived experience, and focus on shared experiences and coping strategies for anxiety and other mental health conditions.

Please feel free to provide feedback on your experience in this group to ADAVIC via our website or Facebook private messages, and don’t hesitate to make suggestions on fun topics you’d like to discuss with the group. We hope you will enjoy your experience with Coffee Afternoons, and if the interest is there, we’d love this to be an ongoing event post pandemic.
