Outline of Treatment approach
I am part of a team of two Clinical Psychologists who work exclusively with children, adolescents, parents and families. We both have training, experience and a strong interest in treating anxiety disorders in children and youth. We share a passion for working with young people and their families, in order to support them in achieving their goals. We offer evidence-based psychological services, while taking a supportive, warm, individualised, and respectful approach with our clients. We work responsively, in collaboration with young people and their parents (and, if appropriate, their kindergartens, schools or other professionals involved).

We both hold post-graduate qualifications in clinical psychology, as we have each completed six or seven years of university training in clinical psychology, followed by further supervised practice in the area of child/youth clinical psychology. Since then, we both have experience working in various settings providing psychology services to young people experiencing difficulties including anxiety, such as mental health services, hospitals, schools, and early intervention services. I personally have completed a Doctor of Clinical Psychology with a specialisation in working with children, adolescents, and families, and have over 16 years experience working with children and adolescents experiencing anxiety and other difficulties. We are committed to engaging in ongoing professional development and training so that we can continue to offer psychological services that are supported by current research. For example, my team member, Courtney Baglin, completed additional specialised training and accreditation in the FOCUS program, a family-based treatment of OCD in children and adolescents.

We are dedicated to providing ethical and effective services that follow high professional standards and help our clients to achieve the outcomes they are hoping for.

We are both registered providers of Medicare specialist clinical psychology services, which means our clients receive the highest level of Medicare rebates under the Better Access initiative.
