Outline of Treatment approach
I have a PhD in Clinical Psychology and work in a private practice as well as at a major public hospital. My focus is on creating a safe, trusting space where we can work together to address your concerns. You can expect evidence based, compassionate psychology for mental health, well-being and personal growth. I strongly believe that you are the expert of your own experience - and therefore my focus is on working collaboratively together to allow healing to occur.

Underpinning all treatment is an emphasis on compassion. The approach ultimately depends upon your individual needs; however, I often draw on cognitive behavioural therapy (CBT) and mindfulness based interventions. Through my research and work in public and private settings, I have developed a strong interest in body-mind links. Where appropriate, sessions explore the neurobiological aspects of many conditions such as pain, trauma, and anxiety.

I keep up to date with the latest research and developments in psychology. I'm a full member of the Australian Psychological Society (APS) and the Australian Pain Society.
