Outline of Treatment approach
I work collaboratively with clients and favour a holistic approach to total wellbeing. My goal is to empower those I am working with, and guide them through their difficulties by strengthening their self-esteem, and understanding and dealing with their limiting beliefs. My ultimate goal is to see those I work with achieve personal balance and a better quality of life.
As a former primary and special education teacher, I combine my extensive experience in both the learning and psychology disciplines together with evidenced based strategies to assist clients in identifying the cause of their difficulties, and understanding why they persist. I pair this with simple and graded strategies that make the journey to resilience ‘do-able’.
I also run Spider Phobia workshops in conjunction with invertibrates specialist Patrick Honan.
My book entitled “Annihilate Stress and Anxiety” has been recently released as has the accompanying CD series “The PEARLS of Resilience”.
Whilst stress is a fact of life, to struggle with stress and all that it leads to, shouldn’t be seen as normal, and it doesn’t need to be.
