Marie is a Registered Psychologist with the Psychologists Registration of Victoria and has been in private practice since 2004. She has a degree in the Behavioural Sciences (Psychology) with Honours, and is an Member of the Australian Psychological Society. She has a long history in human resources, training, occupational rehabilitation, health psychology at a leading general hospital, and University tutoring.

Marie has a personal interest in the natural therapies, whereby she takes a holistic view of mental health and emotional wellbeing. She works collaboratively with her clients towards achieving a balanced sense of self. Marie supports her clients to challenge their self-limiting beliefs, helps them to explore their passions, achieve their personal and vocational goals, and realise a purposeful and fully self-expressed life. The professional team at her Balanced Wellbeing Centre assist their clients to strike a balance in all areas so that they attain a healthy mind and body.

Marie has considerable experience in assisting clients to manage and overcome their problems, and draws on evidence based strategies to treat a wide variety of mental health imbalances. Given her training and experience, Marie has an interest in using motivational strategies to help individuals change their unhealthy habit and behaviours.
