Outline of Treatment approach
I am a psychologist with 30+ years of experience in treating a variety of disorders across the life span. Preferred treatment modalities include: EMDR, CBT, cognitive restructuring, mindfulness and DBT. I have worked extensively across primary and secondary schools providing treatment, support and specialised training to whole school communities and have a special interest in the treatment of Anxiety and Panic Disorder. I am well known for my work with school refusal, childhood anxiety, behavioural disorders and developmental issues. I run a busy private practice in Melbourne’s west (Werribee) and am the author of Overcoming School Refusal: A practical guide for teachers, counsellors, caseworkers and parents.
