Topic 1:

Tomi Redman is a registered psychologist with many years experience specialising in working with anxiety disorders and depression. She has worked with TRANX/PADA for almost six years, with previous experience working with adolescents in forensic settings. Tomi has experience working in clinical and educational settings where she has delivered programs, seminars and workshops on several specialist topics, including self-esteem and confidence. Tomi's professional experience and interests are predominately in the fields of anxiety and depression, trauma, self-esteem and personal development.

Topic 2:

This is an information session regarding a self-esteem program that ADAVIC will be running in September.

The program is called 'Ten Days to Self-Esteem' and has been developed by David D. Burns, M.D., a world-renowned psychiatrist and expert on mood problems, and author of the widely acclaimed 'Feeling Good' self-help book. This group program will run over a ten week period, and will address issues of low self-esteem, feelings of inferiority, perfectionism, and procrastination. The program is based on cognitive behavioural principles.

Eva and Dianne will provide details regarding course structure, content, cost, participant requirements, involvement and activities. They will be happy to answer any questions regarding the course.
